We found out about the MicroFIT program by attending an information
seminar conducted by Cleave Energy which twigged our interest and
we went from there.

We were very happy with how quickly and how efficiently the work
progressed, and are very satisfied with the workmanship.

The fact that solar panels have become more advanced and efficient
was another factor in our decision. Given the fact that even on cloudy
days the panels still produced, exceeding our expectations.
When we see how much carbon has been saved it is encouraging to us.

In the spring of this year we had Cleave Energy install a 10kw ground mount system on our property near Stirling Ontario. We left all the paperwork permits and contracts to the staff of Cleave and they looked after everything...even when the OPA tried to renege on the offered price per kw/hr, they went above and beyond to get the original price in the reapplication process.

The construction crews were efficient and very neat and did a great job with very little damage to our lawn and shrubs.

Overall, it has been a very pleasant experience, the workers were very competent and thorough and there was very little "mess" left behind… much less than I expected.

As far as Cleave Energy is concerned, I am recommending you highly whenever I discuss the project. I'm glad to have dealt with a reputable local firm. With this FIT program a lot of "fly by nighters" are probably jumping on the bandwagon and I'm sure that there will be some horror stories. Just the fact that the ESA people knew and respected the standard of workmanship from Cleave went a long way… I expected some glitches but none came up.

I spoke with 5 companies that advertised installations of MicroFit systems in my area. After telephone interviews (with those that returned my calls) I shortlisted 2 companies. After meeting with them and touring installations they had done, I selected Cleave Energy Inc.

The work was done quickly and professionally. Although there were some delays in getting connected to the gird (mostly due to factors outside of Cleave's control), I am 100% happy with the results and would recommend Cleave Energy Inc. for a similar installation.

I have been very pleased with the way I was treated by ALL staff, employees, trades people CEO, salespersons of Cleave Energy. From the first person I met, I think her name was Elaine!! All down the line.

And YES, I will, and have already, past your name on to anyone who will listen to me talk about my system.

I have been self employed, in one capacity or another all my life, sales etc., therefore I totally understand referrals and what it means to building a solid business.

If I had any conversations re: landscaping, I know who to call. Since you were so knowledgeable re solar, and how to handle questions and objections I'm sure you and your husbands business will be successful because of the way you treat people.

My wife and I spoke with seven microFIT installers prior to selecting Cleave Energy Inc. of Picton as the contracting firm to install our system. Their technical advice, professionalism and ability to supply the equipment necessary to complete the job lived up to our expectations. The office support staff were well versed on the application process with OPA. All staff were pleasant, courteous and able to answer any enquiries we had during the installation process. All and all, a pleasant experience.

We were very happy to participate in the MicroFit Program with Cleave Energy as our partner in it. Overall, we were pleased with the service understanding that there has been many changes, some minor some major, along the way. Trying to be efficient, timely and professional can be difficult to do when you have to rely on another party(OPA) to play along. Cleave did a very good job with the necessary paperwork so that we didn't have to worry about that. It was a pleasure to work with Uve and the boys. They helped me to understand how the installation process works and what is critical to do a good job. I have just received copies of all the information that is pertinent to my project. I am happy to have that. Our system has been hooked up for nearly 3 months and we are awaiting our first check. We realize that OPA doesn't move that fast so we are being patient.

We have been recommending Cleave Energy to anyone who has a listening ear and is thinking of participation in the program. So far, my Dad and Mom have signed up and hopefully we can convince others we have talked to that it is a good idea. If not, then it's their loss.
